Integration with WordPress – WooCommerce plugin

WooCommerce plugin, that enables you to set up an e-store with WordPress, has been integrated with SALESmanago. With this integration, email addresses used during logging or registering into your store will be added to your SALESmanago account.From that point we will start tracking your contact.

HOW TO INSTALL WooCommerce PLUGIN 

In WordPress administration panel navigate to ‘Plugins’ and then select ‘Add new’. Find WooCommerce and click ‘Install Now’. Open the ‘Plugins’ section in WordPress adminstration panel and then go to ‘Installed plugins’. Click ‘Activate’ next to ‘WooCommerce’.

HOW TO INSTALL SALESmanago PLUGIN

Click again on Plugins and Add new [1]. Search SALESmanago [2] and Install [4].

CREATING A NEW ACCOUNT

  1. CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT

[1] Email address – type in the email address with which you will log in to the SALESmanago system.

[2] Password – enter your password.

[3] Choose language – choose the language you want to use in the SALESmanago system.

2. ADJUST THE INTEGRATION SETTINGS

[1] Choose language – choose language you want to use on the SALESmanago platform. It will be used in all features you activate.

[2] Choose shop colors – choose scheme color in the features you activate.

[3] Export historical transaction data – all transaction data that is all orders with status completed will be moved to the SALESmanago system.

[4] Export contacts to SALESmanago – move all contacts that you acquired in your shop to SALESmanago (it means users who created an account).

3. ADJUST THE ACCOUNT SETTINGS

Choose the features from the list that can be activated in the plugin. If it comes to the advanced settings, click Edit in SALESmanago and you will be automatically redirected to SALESmanago, where you can personalize the settings.

These are your active modules on the SALESmanago platform that you can personalise in the plugin right after you click Edit in SALESmanago under Activate button.

[1] Client ID – it is an external identifier of a customer. This information comes from the SALESmanago system. It is automatically dragged to the field. You can find it in Settings => Integrations => API Access

[2] Endpoint – This information comes from the SALESmanago system. It is automatically dragged to the field. You can find it in Settings => Integrations => API Access

[3] Contact owner email – enter the email address that will be the owner of acquired contacts.

[4] Web Push code form – after you create an agreement form that is necessary in creating a Web Push notification, in the last step the code is generated and it needs to be paste in the field [4].

4. ACTIVATE THE EXTENSION

After you activate the WooCommerce plugin, you can activate the SALESmanago integration with WooCommerce. After you activate it, you can personalise the settings for WooCommerce plugin (screen 5 below). After activation the screen will be added to the SALESmanago dashboard. Tags (assigned to contacts who either registered or logged in to the shop) are sent to SALESmanago together with the external event such as purchase or adding a product to a cart.

5. ADJUST THE EXTENSION SETTINGS

[1] Cart URL – enter the ending part of the URL address to the cart in WooCommerce. Thanks to that, it is possible to reach the link to the cart and it will be possible as information about a user who adds a product to the cart will be sent as an external event. The details about the cart will be visible (together with the link) on a contact card in Events.

[2] Tags assigned after registration – you can add a tag to contacts who registered in the shop. This option enables to differentiate contacts who registered in the shop.

[3] Tags assigned after login – you can add a tag to contacts who logged in the shop.

[4] Tags assigned after purchase – you can add a tag to contacts who made a purchase.
