Selectors for addressing emails

When addressing mailings, you can use one of the selectors below instead of email addresses or tags. Selectors refer to particular contact groups based on shared characteristics.

IMPORTANT: After you schedule an email to be sent later, you can change only the content of the template (pictures, text, links and so on). Changes to other settings will not apply to the scheduled email.

You can use any of the selectors listed below both in Contact Management and when you are Exporting contacts to file.

  • tag: [tag name] – addresses from a given tag
  • opened: [mailing name] – addresses of recipients who have opened a message from a particular mailing
  • not opened: [mailing name] –  addresses of recipients who did not open a message from a particular mailing
  • clicked: [mailing name] – addresses of recipients who have clicked on a message from a particular mailing
  • not clicked: [mailing name] – addresses of recipients who did not click on a message from a particular mailing
  • sent: [mailing name] – addresses of recipients to which a particular mailing has been sent to
  • planned: [mailing name] – addresses of recipients for whom mailing has been planned to be sent
  • monitored – monitored contacts
  • notmonitored – contacts that are not monitored
  • optedout – contacts who have opted out of receiving emails,
  • optedin – contacts subscribed to receiving emails,
  • phoneoptedin – contacts who subscribed to receiving text messages,
  • phoneoptedout –  contacts who opted out from receiving text messages, kontakty,
  • onemessage –  contacts who agreed to receive only one message a week when they signed out of mailing,
  • all – all contacts in the database,
  • status – client, prospect, partner, other,
  • funnel: [funnel name] – addresses from a given funnel,
  • stage: – addresses from a given stage of the funnel,
  • deleted – deleted contacts,
  • invalid – invalid contacts,
  • event: [event name] – contacts subscribed to an event,
  • birthday – contacts with birthdays on a particular day (choose from the following options: today, tomorrow, in 7 days’ time or to be entered as dd-mm, eg. birthday:15-01),
  • city: [city name] – contacts with their address in a specified city as per their contact cards,
  • country: [country name] – contacts with their address in a specified country as per their contact cards,
  • prefixpostcode: [first 2 digits] – contacts that have this prefix in their zip code,
  • owner: [owner address] – contacts for whom an owner is assigned to their accounts,
  • main owner: [main owner address] – contacts for whom the main owner is assigned to their accounts:

first – an example of how the ‘first’ selector can be used – setting up a periodic email to be sent to clients whose first purchase occurred at a predefined time. This could be an email with a discount code that is to be sent to users who made their first purchase a year ago.
