Basic contact scoring

One of the basic ways to differentiate very active contacts from those barely active, is contact scoring.

What is contact scoring? It is the sum of points assigned to a contact for performing a particular activity. In the system you can assign points for particular activities in general, or assign them as an action in the automation rules section.

a) If you are new to SALESmanago, values of your scoring points are set to default. You can edit it at any time.

b) It is recommended not to set points values as high.

Example:

Entering web page: 2 points.

Opening email: 5 points.

Clicking on email: 3 points.

If a user receives and opens a message, and clicks on 4 links within the message – then, for his/her activity he/she will receive: 2 points + 5 points + 4×3 points = 19 points.

ALTERNATIVE WAYS TO ASSIGN SCORING:

a) Adding score with automation rules. More information can be found here.

b) Adding score with contact management. More information can be found here.

To assign the basic scoring, go to SETTINGS –>GENERAL SCORING.
